Welcome to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. Spread out under the gaze of its ancient castle, the city is an inspiring blend of history, culture and nature. It’s said to have more pubs per capita than anywhere else in the UK, so take some time to join the locals for a pint.

Transfer to Leith where you’ll board your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse. Meet the Captain, crew and the Discovery Team, and settle into your spacious suite. Join your fellow guests at the Sky Bar for a glass of Champagne before setting sail.

DAY 2 – AT SEA

After a restorative night in your ultra-luxury suite, wake to your own timetable. Ask your butler to bring you breakfast in your suite for a relaxing start to the day.

Then take some time to explore your Discovery Yacht. Visit the Sky Bar and outdoor Vitality pool on Deck 10 or take advantage of the Captain’s open bridge policy and observe your Discovery Yacht in operation.

DAY 3 – SKAGEN, DENMARK

Skagen is Denmark’s northernmost town. It’s renowned for its captivating light, which has inspired many Scandinavian painters and became an artist colony at the end of the 19th century. Immerse yourself in the rich artistic heritage of this charming coastal town, where the beauty of nature meets the creativity of human expression. Explore the Skagens Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of Skagen painters, including masterpieces by P.S. Krøyer and Anna Archer.

DAY 4 – COPENHAGEN, DENMARK

One of Scandinavia’s brightest jewels, Copenhagen is a city full of exceptional architecture, art, history and food. The Danish capital embraces conscious and sustainable living and is one of the world’s best cities to explore by bike.

Your late-night departure allows you to see the Tivoli Gardens transformed into a wonderland of lights. One of the oldest theme parks in the world, it was founded in 1843. Enjoy from nostalgic experiences to thrill seeker rides, including a wooden rollercoaster from 1914.

DAY 5 – GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN

Start your morning enjoying the sail through the scenic Kattegat Sea, where charming villages, rocky islets, and lush shores unfold. Spot seabirds, seals, and historic lighthouses. As Gothenburg nears, be captivated by Sweden’s stunning archipelago of picturesque islands and rugged cliffs.

Gothenburg, Sweden’s vibrant ‘second city,’ it’s a blend of maritime heritage and modern charm. Explore canals, historic architecture, the Haga district’s wooden houses, and the famed Feskekôrka fish market. Don’t miss the Maritime Museum or Michelin-starred dining.

DAY 6 – FJÄLLBACKA, SWEDEN

Indulge in a truly unforgettable morning with a scenic cruise through the stunning Fjällbacka archipelago. Ask your butler to deliver a delicious breakfast to your suite and savor every moment as you glide through this captivating coastal paradise, surrounded by breathtaking beauty.

The town of Fjällbacka is nestled in the breathtaking Swedish archipelago between Gothenburg and the Norwegian border. Discover the city’s rich maritime history at the Norwegian Maritime Museum, learn about its proud tradition of international peacemaking at the Nobel Peace Centre and marvel at the stunning works of Norwegian artist Edvard Munch in the Munch Museum.

This evening, Your Discovery Yacht will depart via Oslofjord, a serene waterway that connects Oslo to the ocean. Stand on your private verandah to admire the picturesque views.

DAY 8 – MAMDAL, NORWAY

Before reaching Mandal, Norway’s southernmost town, start your day with an energising workout in the gym or a rejuvenating session in the PURE: Yoga & Pilates Studio.

Wander through its charming cobblestone streets, where local life thrives in specialty shops, cafés, and bakeries. After a restorative night in your ultra-luxury suite, wake at your leisure. Enjoy breakfast in bed or join fellow guests in the Yacht Club to admire the stunning views of Lysefjord’s dramatic cliffs and clear waters.

Check your daily program for onboard activities, lectures or join the Captain on the bridge as we sail through this extraordinary fjord.

The open bridge policy provides an opportunity to learn about the technical abilities of your Discovery Yacht while enjoying one of the ship’s best viewing areas. Stavanger is renowned for its spectacular fjords; towering cliff faces and long white sandy beaches.

DAY 10 – STAVANGER, NORWAY

Nestled on Norway’s southwestern coast, the ancient city of Stavanger boasts a rich Viking heritage. Dating back to the 9th century, it’s often referred to as the ‘Cradle of the Vikings’. Stavanger is easy to explore on foot – stroll past the well-preserved white wooden houses of the old town and along Øvre Holmegate, known as the ‘street of colours’. Learn more about the city’s fascinating past and seafaring legacy at the Stavanger Maritime Museum, housed in a historic wharf side warehouse. Stavanger is also renowned for its culinary scene, with a bustling fish market offering fresh seafood delights.

DAY 11 – BERGEN – NORWAY

Your unforgettable journey finishes today in Bergen. Savour one last luxurious breakfast on board your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht before saying farewell to the crew and new friends who have shared this journey with you. You will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey or return flight home, taking with you memories that will last a lifetime.

  Elements restaurant, located on Deck 4, offers guests a more relaxed dining experience during either breakfast, lunch or dinner, with seating for up to 104 guests. Be greeted by your Scenic hostess as you enter and are escorted to your table. Reservations are not required to dine at Elements, with a flexible array of seating options for you to dine alone or with new friends on larger tables where you can share your experiences from your daily discoveries.

  Enjoy premium beverages from Elements bar which has a selection of fine wines, a classic beverage program and a broad menu of international cheeses.

  Located within Elements, enjoy an exclusive, invitation only private evening dégustation dining at Chef’s Table.  You will be among a group of just 10 guests to enjoy an exquisite 11-course dégustation meal with each dish paired with premium beverages.   Lumière

  Contemporary French fine dining and Champagne Bar

  Lumière is a fine dining restaurant which offers exceptional French cuisine for dinner service only. The restaurant accommodates up to 35 guests in an elegant and modern atmosphere, with a beautiful Champagne Bar serving premium beverages to accompany your meal. Sample a pre-dinner drink at the bar and enjoy fried oysters and caviar, which are all offered to guests with reservations, before being shown to your table to settle in for an evening of world-class cuisine and service.

  Guests can also opt for a set degustation menu, where you can choose which main meal you would prefer. Lumière dining requires a reservation and is located on Deck 5.

  

  Koko’s Asian Fusion

  Enhance your senses at Koko’s on Deck 4, serving authentic Asian cuisine for lunch and dinner, catering for up to 26 guests. Koko’s features regular tables or a sunken seating, inspired by traditional Japanese dining practices.

  Koko’s offers guests a luxurious dining experience with a buzzing atmosphere – it’s a popular culinary experience where you can arrange share plates and sample flavours you may not have tasted before.

  

  Sushi @Koko’s

  A wonderfully authentic Japanese experience

  Sushi @ Koko’s offers an authentic Japanese dining experience, located at the front of Koko’s restaurant. Catering for up to 18 guests, you can dine along a bar benchtop eating area running underneath the windows and overlooking the ocean, or be seated along the bar where the chefs hand-make the freshest sushi.

  You can interact with the chef if you wish, or simply relax and enjoy the exquisitely fresh sushi. There are also western style options for the guests to choose from if they prefer, rather than sashimi or raw sushi.

  

  Night Market @ Koko’s

  Private dining with an authentic Teppanyaki grill

  Night Market @ Koko’s features a classic teppanyaki grill. Enjoy real interaction with the chef as he guides you on an inspired journey of the night market dishes from Asia, India and the Middle East, preparing dishes right in front of you. This experience is not the usual show you may envisage, where food is thrown and eggs cracked on the grill. Rather, it is an intimate dining experience for only eight guests and the chef. There are waiters continuously circulating with beverages and making sure the guests are well attended.  Bookings are required for the Night Market @ Koko’s dining, located on Deck 4.

  

  Azure Bar & Café

  Relaxed all-day grazing

  Azure bar & Café offers guest indoor or outdoor seating on its terrace, where you’ll take in spectacular views of your destination. Relax and enjoy a variety of light fare, pizzas, salads, snacks and a healthy selection of meals for relaxed all-day grazing, coupled with barista-made coffee and beverages.
  After dinner, Azure bar & Café serves a selection of treats such as macaroons, biscotti and chocolate delights accompanied by brandies, ports, specialty tea or coffee and much more.

  It’s a very relaxed café which seats up to 50 guests inside and 35 outside enjoying the views from Deck 5, giving you a serene and laid-back feeling. It is great place to start the morning with a coffee and light breakfast to nourish you for the day ahead.

  

  Yacht Club

  Yacht Club grill restaurant and bar, serving breakfast and lunch

  The Yacht Club on Deck 7 has recently been significantly reimagined to create a more casual and flexible dining experience. The venue has been redesigned to include new food islands and enhanced outdoor and lounge seating to create a casual ambience.

  “We have a new large sofa lounge to give guests the option of eating in a more casual way than on traditional dining tables. We added a big gelato cooler which will showcase our freshly-made gelato at its finest. Overall, I’m very excited about the new Yacht Club. I imagine it will be a space where guests will mingle, dine or simply ‘hang out’ in one of our brand-new swing chairs and enjoy the magnificent views,” said Chef Tom.

  When the mood strikes to dine in the privacy of your suite, your butler can arrange everything. Choose from the 24-hour in-suite dining menu and your cuisine and accompanying premium beverages will be delivered and served for you to savour in the solitude of your suite.

  Your butler will also ensure that your in-suite mini-bar is re-stocked daily in accordance with your favourite premium beverages. You might like to start your day with a cup of aromatic illy coffee made from your in-suite Espresso coffee machine, or sip on a specialty tea in the sunlight on your verandah.
