Aurora Expeditions Season Highlights

The latest release of Antarctica itineraries offer immersive, responsible adventures aboard three purpose-built small ships. Enjoy chic, sophisticated spaces on the Sylvia Earle, Greg Mortimer and the newest ship- the Douglas Mawson.
The season comprises 34 expeditions, with itineraries ranging from 8 to 23 days. This is perfect for travellers looking for a shorter trip or a more in-depth exploration. Aurora Expeditions are introducing a new range of 10 Special Edition voyages. These focus on topics like photography, science, whale migration, women’s only alongside their all-new culinary voyages.
Travellers will also now enjoy four new expedition itineraries including; South Georgia & Antarctica: Through the Lens, Antarctic Feast: Circle in Depth, Across the Antarctic Circle: Fly the Drake and Southern Antarctic Realms: Antarctic Circle & Weddell Sea. These fresh routes highlight distinct wildlife, dramatic landscapes, and unique ways to experience Antarctica.
With new departures that skip the Drake Passage in either one or both directions, there are even more options for those looking for a quicker way to travel to Antarctica in 2027/28. With these departures, you’re able to experience once-in-a-lifetime aerial views as you fly by charter plane directly to or from King George Island in the Antarctic South Shetland Islands.
