Be among the first to sail on these brand new ships, set to release soon!

Viking River Cruises: European Longships

Guests looking to cruise the Rhine, Main and Danube will be pleased to find four new Viking European Longships available. The Viking Honir, Viking Eldir, Viking Annar and Viking Dagur have the same deck plans as each other. It features the restaurant and buffet set out in front of the ship on the Middle Deck. Onboard is also a lounge, bar, library, buffet and terrace on the Upper Deck. A Sun Deck features a pool, herb garden and walking track. These ships boast only 190 guests, 53 crew members and 443 feet in length. You’ll find these ships featured in the most iconic itineraries such as the Rhine Getaway, Grand European Tour and the Passage to Eastern Europe.

The Viking Gyda will also be joining the fleet on the Douro River on the Iberian Peninsula. Similar to other Viking River Cruises, Gyda has a similar ship design. However, the boat only holds 106 guests, making for a really intimate and private voyage. On the Sun Deck, guests can enjoy a pool and even a buffet

Viking Nerthus will sail the Seine River and has a similar ship design and layout to the Rhine, Main and Danube fleet. With a capacity of 168 guests, you’re still guaranteed the benefits of a small-ship cruise.

Viking River Cruises: The Nile

Two new ships will join the Nile River fleet, including the Viking Amun and the Viking Thoth, which will sail the popular Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary. Both at 236 feet long, the ships only hold 82 guests. This means seamless access to the Pool Deck and Sun Deck along with the Aquavit Terrace & Lounge, a revolutionary indoor/outdoor viewing area for al fresco dining. Guests onboard will enjoy the elegant Scandinavian aesthetic for which Viking is known for.

Viking River Cruises: The Mekong

Viking Tonle will double Viking’s fleet on the Mekong River in Southeast Asia, joining its identical sister ship the Viking Saigon, built in 2022. This Viking River Cruise has only 80 guests, as well as the great features of a Sun Deck and Pool, Fitness Centre, Sky Bar and Spa. This ship is featured on the Magnificent Mekong voyage from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City!
